BlueCross BlueShield of Florida Online Provider Directory Instructions for Providers in the state of Florida
Remember: You need to always stay IN-NETWORK to get the Copays and Deductibles listed in your Benefits.
Always Ask: “Are you In-Network for BlueCross BlueShield of Florida BLUE OPTIONS?”
Finding a Doctor or Facility Online:
- Go to www.bcbsfl.com
- Click on the “Find a Doctor and More” tab in the top-middle of the page
- Step 1: Doctor or Facility Information – enter the information for the TYPE of Provider you wish to locate
- Step 2: Insurance plan Information – ALWAYS select “BlueOptions (Network Blue)”
- Step 3: Location – select your distance (ZIP Code with radius will give you the most Providers)
- Click the blue “Search!” button
- All the Providers located within your Search Area will load – there may be several pages
To PRINT a List:
- Click the black “Print Results” tab with the printer in the upper left-hand side of the screen
- A new internet window will open and say, “Getting print results – please wait…”
- Your results will display
- Click the orange “Print” button
***NOTE: ALL BCBSFL Providers in your specified area will be listed in your results, however, you should ALWAYS CALL THE DOCTOR BEFORE YOU GO to see if they are ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS at that time.
*** It is possible that a provider accepts BCBSFL BlueOptions and is on your list, but they are not accepting new patients when you need an appointment.

GUARDIAN DENTAL INSURANCE ONLINE PROVIDER SEARCH
Finding a Dental Provider:
1. Go to www.glic.com
2. Click the “Find a Provider” link in grey box on the right-hand side of the screen
3. Click button with the tooth - “Find a Dentist”
4. Select the “PPO” option from the drop-down menu
5. Select your search type—Location (ZIP Code with Radius) or Provider (by Name)
6. Enter your ZIP Code (if selecting the Location option)
7. Click the green “Continue” button
8. Select your Network – Dental Guard Preferred
9. Choose the Type of Dentist you’re looking for
10. Your results will display
To Print:
11. Click the “Print This Page” link at the top of the page
12. Your results will display in a printer-friendly format
13. Follow the prompts to print it on your computer
***NOTE: ALL Guardian Dental Guard Preferred Dental Providers in your
specified area are listed in your results, however, you should ALWAYS CALL THE
DENTAL PROVIDER BEFORE YOU GO to see if they are ACCEPTING NEW
PATIENTS AT THAT TIME.
*** It is possible that a provider accepts Guardian Dental and is on your list, but
they are not accepting new patients when you need an appointment.
REMEMBER TO GET A PRE-TREATMENT ESTIMATE
for ANY procedure other than a CLEANING

Finding a Vision Provider:
1. Go to www.glic.com
2. Click the “Find a Provider” link in grey box on the right-hand side of the screen
3. Click button with the glasses - “Find a Vision Provider”
4. Select the “VSP” option from the drop-down menu
5. Select your search type—Location (ZIP Code with Radius) or Provider (by Name)
6. Enter your ZIP Code (if selecting the Location option)
7. Click the green “Continue” button
8. Your results will display
To Print:
9. Click the “Print This Page” link at the top of the page
10. Your results will display in a printer-friendly format
11. Follow the prompts to print it on your computer

in your results, however, you should ALWAYS CALL THE VISION PROVIDER
